Kangaroo leather is known to be 10x stronger then cowhide leather used to make other dog show leashes. Kangaroo lace is capable to be braided into a smaller diameter then cowhide leather. With use of your Kangaroo Leather braided leash it will turn buttery soft and supple.
Calf leather is thin yet strong, Calf Leather Lace offers professional and consistant quality in a soft and supple lace. Precision cut using only the best calf skins. A top-grain lace with single-side finish.
All my leashes are constructed b while in my workshop or sitting in my R.V. at a dog show. I use Imported High Quality Kangaroo or Calf Leather tightly braided around a 80 lb test line to add additional strength. The core test line will take the pressure off the leather giving your leash lasting longevity.
My leashes can be made to any length you desire with bead clusters or not, or your dogs name as your cluster or a bead tassel at the handle.
Before shipping all leashes are treated with leather lotion to start the softening process.
All my beaded leashes and leads are made with handcrafted lampwork glass, Tibetan silver, lead free pewter, gold and silver plate, brass, and other very nice quality beads. There is no plastic used in my leashes.
All leashes are one of a kind, I can only show pictures, to give you an idea of what they can look like when clusters are added, my focal (center bead of cluster) are one of kind, You can order the color of leather for your leash and the color of beads you would like to use for your cluster. I can give you a couple of samples via email once you decide and I receive payment I can start your leash, I can help you create the perfect lead for you and your dog.
You will receive your lead quickly. I usually can mail your order withnin 5 days, after I receive your payment, as long as I am not out of town at a dog show. You can pay with PayPal, money order or check.
I also have lightweight toy leads, made out of nylon cording . Prices start at $15.00, and depend on the type of bead clusters used, the style of lead, determins the cost of the lead.
